The Islamic Architectural Monuments in Kosovo During XVI – XVIII Centuries

This article aims to shed light on the construction of architectural monuments in Kosovo as early XVI-XVIII centuries, especially Islamic architecture. style construction, influenced by eastern part continent, had its own features, which set it apart from other constructions built before Islam. Those features reached Albanian areas after Ottoman Empire conquered them. type architecture expressed religious aspects mosques and prayer facilities, but bridges, markets, shrines, objects were also constructed. The research results indicated that local traditional elements. A specific model was produced used all under rule. Secondly, over time numerous following this model. As a result, cities lives changed. comparative methodology besides analysis synthesis followed elaborate paper, using relevant literature.
